Disclaimer: I am not a professional astrologer, I may be aspiring for a career in it, but I am in no way claiming to be a teacher, the tips are from my own experience. I am still learning myself, and quite frankly, even professional astrologers continue learning!
skepticism can’t take you very far. also, sometimes astrology’s concepts grow and evolve. for example, liz greene’s discovery regarding the 4th-10th house axis! don’t be close-minded, you can learn so much if you’re open.
the 2nd house talks about money. how does it connect to the 1st and 3rd house? go deeper. gemini’s are often considered two-faced. why is that? your task is to learn for yourself what’s the root of that stereotype.
you can’t learn all of astrology overnight. it takes so much time and energy that you need to be willing to put in. there is no end to astrology, so there’s a whole wide world of it for you to dive into!
you might find reading books boring. but you might like discussion! or maybe you don’t like discussion and you’d rather hear or watch lessons- get into podcasts and youtube astrology!
yes, i will say that your chart is cake. a never ending, detailed cake. go past the signs. look into the houses. the aspects, degrees, and the even smaller aspects. get into the asteroids. you’ll discover your chart AND yourself.
